A new jacket for summer
I don’t know about you, but the first thing I think of when holidays approach is… how many books shall I take with me? Is five paperbacks too many? Will four be enough? Or should I play it safe and just go for six…
Talking of paperbacks, I have an exciting cover reveal to share with you today: The Dream Home has a new jacket for the summer!
The Dream Home - paperback
This is the first time the paperback cover has been shown anywhere and I absolutely love it. What do you think? It retains the style of the hardback but the reddening sky gives it a real feel of summer – along with a definite touch of menace. The yellow trimmed edge really catches the eye and it also features three lovely new quotes from other authors who have been kind enough to lend their support.
If you’re looking for a paperback for your summer holiday, it’s arriving on 18th July and is available to pre-order now. And if you’ve already discovered the secrets of The Dream Home yourself, why not tell a friend or family member? Word-of-mouth recommendations are always the most important and I’m grateful for every single one.
Psst - paperback readers will get some special bonus content too – a first look at the opening chapter of my next book (no.9) which is coming out in early 2025.
I was at Capital Crime recently, a London crime fiction festival, taking part in a couple of events including the launch of National Crime Reading Month (NCRM) – a celebration of every shade of crime fiction. There are NCRM events taking place all over the country throughout June, so be sure to check out what’s happening near you.
At the Capital Crime festival: (l-r) Abir Mukherjee, Eva Bjorg Aegisdottir, Sarah Pearse, TM Logan.
I’m almost there with the first draft of my next book: the wordcount has tipped over 85,000 words and I think I can just about see the finish line. Then I’ll be off to put together my holiday reading list. Maybe the answer is just to take a bigger suitcase…
