Read the first two chapters of my new thriller!
Well, 2021 doesn’t seem to have got off to a great start, does it? But I’m hoping that things will begin to get better from here on out.
I’m excited to be able to share an update that I hope will give you something to look forward to – the first two chapters of my new thriller, Trust Me. The book is not out until 18th March but I’m delighted to be able to provide a taster below. Members of my Readers’ Club were the first to receive this as an exclusive early preview, so if you want to get early content in future, be sure to sign up below!
Trust Me begins with a simple act of kindness, when Ellen offers a few minutes’ respite to a flustered young mother sitting opposite her on the train. A few minutes holding her baby while the mother makes an urgent phone call. The weight of the child in her arms makes Ellen’s heart ache for what she can never have. But she could never have imagined what would happen next . . .
I can’t believe how fast publication day has crept up – less than two months to go until the hardback hits the shelves!
I always like to mark a particular date in January as it’s a special anniversary for me – the date when I first became a published author. 17th January 2017 saw one of my biggest dreams realised, when my debut Lies was published in ebook. I’d been working towards it for so long that it was a very surreal moment when it finally happened, let alone when Lies went on to become one of the biggest ebooks of the year, selling more than 400,000 copies to date in the UK.
And here we are, four books later! I’m grateful every day that I get to create stories for a living. I love writing them - and I hope you love reading them too.
