Richard Armitage narrates The Curfew!
I love audiobooks. There’s nothing quite like listening to a story brought to life by a brilliant narrator – perhaps because it reminds me of having stories read to me when I was younger.
And so it was with a great excitement – and a little bit of disbelief, if I’m honest – that I discovered that one of my favourite actors would be narrating the audiobook of my latest thriller, The Curfew!
I’ve been a fan of Richard Armitage for years, ever since watching the BBC series Robin Hood with my daughter, when he appeared as a brooding Guy of Gisborne. More recently I’ve really enjoyed watching him in the Hobbit movies and in the Harlan Coben thrillers Stay Close and The Stranger on Netflix.
So it’s no surprise that he’s done an absolutely amazing job narrating The Curfew.
Richard’s voice is perfect for the role of Andy Boyd, the troubled father at the heart of the novel, and he really takes the story to another level. He’s a hugely talented actor and listening to him bring all of his experience to the role was such a thrill for me as a writer.
If you’re an audiobook fan like me, I just know you’ll enjoy what he brings to my latest thriller. It’s available on Audible, Amazon, Google and Apple. Check out the images for an exclusive look at Richard in studio with the book, or click on the link below to hear a clip from chapter one!
As ever, if you listen to the audiobook please do leave a review, tell a friend or recommend it to a fellow reader – it really does make all the difference in helping to spread the word. Happy listening!
